Eligibility for
Admission:
a) Qualification
The Candidate should
have passed the 10 + 2 or its equivalent examination from a
recognized board/university with aggregate of 40%.
b) Age
Requirement
The age of
candidates should be between 17 to 35 years (as on 31st
December of the admission year) or as directed by H.P. Nursing
Council and INC (Indian Nursing Council) and at the time of
admission Candidate should be physically/mentally fit.

All the charges are subjected to revision at any time during the course.

Students will have to pay for the uniform, books and
transport separately.

Students will bear the expenditure of Hostel, Mess,
Transport, Practical Training in Hospital/Rural Health Centre,
Community Health Centre, Educational Tours and miscellaneous
incidental expenses during the training period.

1. P.T.S. (Preliminary
Training Period) Examination:
This is an Internal Examination conducted by the Institute of
Nursing after 3 month
of intensive study.
2. Internal Assessment:
This is based on the
performance of the student in the classroom, practical work in
the wards / community and Internal Examination in written,
oral and practical.

Note:
1.
Practical examination at the end of six months are conducted
by the school at own level to assess clinical skills of
students.
2. Marks are sent to Council for addition in the over all
results.
3. Diploma by the Council will be issued only after successful
completion of the internship period.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO FINAL EXAMINATION
A candidate shall be eligible for the admission to the State
Council/ Board examination if the principal of the school
certifies that the candidate:
1. Has minimum of 80% of attendance in theory and 100 % in
practical for all subjects in each academic year for appearing
in the examination.
2. Has completed the Practical training requirements.
3. Has completed Practical Experience, the record duly checked
and signed by the Principal of the school.
4. Has pursed a regular course of Study.
5. Has completed the required Field Experience.
Marks
Marks required for passing shall be 50% in aggregate
(Internal, External, Written and Practical).
Examination Fee
The students shall be required to pay the Fee and other
charges of Examinations conducted by Examining Body.
